Cellars of flavour - The seasoned
The sopressa is obtained by selected meats of Italian pork. The sopressa is minced and flavoured with salt, spices and natural aromas. It is encased in a natural casing, dried and slowly seasoned for at least 60 days.
It has a mild and delicate flavour, and it is a typical and beloved speciality of the vicentina culinary tradition. It is recommended to cut the product by hand. It is excellent if combined not only with polenta and mushrooms, but also with bread and pickles. Many people cut it in thicker slices to “brustolarla” (grill it).
Store the product in a cool place (at a maximum of 14°Cs); after the cut, cover the slice with a film for foods and put back the product in a refrigerator at a temperature of +2/+4°Cs.
